First thing was first,we put his car up on jacks and got to work with the wheel removal.This was the worst of the wheel damage.Nothing that should be on a luxury car!

Next we took on the task of removing his calipers and breaking them all down to nothing.Easier said than done for sure.All these pieces are just from 1 corner.

Just to show some detail,this is the backside of a front caliper piece after powdercoating.We taped off all piston & bolting areas.

There is people out there that cut corners and use PAINT for calipers.A lot of times they dont even break them down like we did or even bother to tape anything resulting in painted pad backing plates and brackets……well not here!

Back to the wheels
-Tires were removed
-Wheels were chemically stripped & outgassed
-Small amounts of filler metal were added and rash was smoothed out
-Every nook & cranny was then media blasted for good powder adhesion
-MATTE BLACK powdercoat was applied and baked to give us the final product
-Tires remounted,wheels balanced – scratch free

Next was assembling all the brakes back into 1 piece then bleeding out the system.This was so fun we dont have a pic of it.

And finally the car back on the ground,ready to go back to its owner.

-Prepped & powdercoated center pieces
-Repolished lips
-Rebolted & torqued to specs

Currently the powdercoating division is taking about 95% of our time.With that in mind I simply dont have the time like before to answer questions regarding Honda Ruckus parts & related stuff.Going to take a break from it for sure.Lots of left over stock will be sold to a distributor so they can sell as they please and we continue powdercoating.That way if someone has a question they can answer right away,ship promptly and so on.

Most likely will split things into 2 sites versus having coating & ruckus pieces in the same website.

Super dirty everywhere!

Left face after media blasting,right face as it came in.

Teal metallic with mirror clear.

We did the lips in “MATTE BLACK” then followed with “ULTRA CHROME” centers to serve as a base for the next color which is a translucent.

And finally after adding the “BLACK CHROME” powdercoat over the base.

Still undecided on whether these will get black bolts of gold bolts.

Now the backsides were a different story!

Real heavy dirt,grime,spray paint,everythinggg…..

The next step is to lay down the candy color over this chrome.
